Wii Play is the second installment of mini-games for the Nintendo Wii.  Once again Nintendo comes through with a wonderful collection for everyone to enjoy.  This package comes with one Wii-mote (with batteries) and 9 mini-games, which includes: pool, charge, shooting gallery, laser hockey, find Mii, fishing, tanks, pose Mii, and table tennis.  Each of the games are quite easy to pickup with a short tutorial to assist you before you take charge.

Gamers may want to adjust the sensitivity of the Wii-mote as certain games can be quite difficult to control with a very skittish controller.  The graphics are simple enough to understand and the multiplayer is very easy to set up.

Game play isn’t challenging; you either shoot things or make things fit.  It’s quite easy for anyone to pick up.  Mastering it without any flaws is another story.  For example: in fishing, you are given a selection of fish that must be caught and a timer.  If you just make the bare minimum you can go to the next level.  The better you are at catching fish the harder the selections are and the less time you have to get your catch.  Tanks is another game where you use your Nunchuck to move your tank and use your Wii-mote to attack.  Shooting Gallery is based off the old Nintendo Duck Hunt where you can shoot targets using the A or B buttons on the Wii-mote.

Whether it be perfecting your 9 ball game in pool or improving your hand eye coordination in table tennis, Wii Play is fun for the whole family, with lots of replay value.
