Live the life of Mumble Happy Feet on the Nintendo Wii. Follow Mumble from hatchling to adulthood as he strives to earn his place in the flock. Where other penguins have a Heart song, Mumble sings terribly but can dance up a storm. As Mumble, you must dance, race, and swim your way through over 25 levels and experience the story firsthand. Swim through the vast Antarctic waters as you collect items as well as avoid being eaten by the sea lions and orcas. Then belly slide down the slopes at eye-blurring speeds as you race your penguin friends and escape dangerous chases.
The dancing stages are fueled by great songs from the movie including a few popular hits. As for control, the Wii-mote is utilized by waving the control in the motions of the dance arrows. Also, by turning the controller sideways and simply leaning it side-to-side, Mumble can glide underwater as well as barrel down the slopes.
This game is an easy introduction to new Wii players as it is a great way to get used to your Wii-mote and how it functions. It is also great for kids; however, for serious players, Happy Feet is fun for probably the first 9 or so stages. Then the players realize that they will be playing the same three mini-games for the next 16 or so stages. Sadly there is not much else to the game. But for those who have seen the movie, it was apparent that there really wasn’t much else you could do for the course of the movie.
