Now is the time for all you so-called poker players to put up or shut up. Do you fold or do you go all in? These are just some of the questions you will have to face in World Championship Poker 2. The game takes place in the basement of your pad, where you can host tournaments. You will have to work you way through the poker ranks to become the best. Do you have what it takes to be a poker legend?

While playing World Championship Poker 2, I was very intrigued with the Create a Character mode. There are a lot of features that you use to customize your characters gender, body type and personality. If you are eager to start playing, the computer will randomly select a character for you. I notice that there are many different details to choose from, which bring an RPG type feel to it. This is one of the features that put the game over the top. As you progress through, you will be able to upgrade your pad and clothes at the pawnshop. You can also buy and sell things, as well as also get a loan. (Yes, you will have to pay the loan back).
The game play is actually faster than I anticipated. I was looking for long and boring downtime waiting on other players, but by simply tapping the x button, the other players will speed up. You can choose from several types of poker games that are really fun to play. Another nice feature is the online play. It was really fun to play with different players form around the world. Using the chat feature made the game a little longer, and using the analog stick to type was ok.
Poker fans will get a real kick out of this game. With over 20 different types of poker and 6 multiplayer games, you will be a pro in no time. I hope in the future that Crave utilize the voice chat feature. This I think could make this game a near perfect game. Overall World Championship Poker 2 is a fun game, and poker fans will enjoy playing it for a long time.
