You play as Professor Layton, a very smart professor who loves a good puzzle.  With your sidekick, Luke, you solve over 130 puzzles in the main game alone.  The story is nothing to frown at.  It will keep you very entertained for hours.

This game has tons of puzzles to play right out of the box.  Along with that, there are cool videos scenes that are very entertaining.  Professor Layton makes good use of the touch screen in almost all of the puzzles.  The story is in depth for a puzzle game and will keep you entertained for a very long time, but the story isn’t so interconnected that you can’t just pick it up and play after waiting for a while.  However, if puzzles aren’t your cup of tea, then I would highly recommend not getting this.  This game is simply puzzle after puzzle with a story thrown in between.

Not only is this game packed with tons of puzzles, every week there is another puzzle that you can download off Wi-Fi.  Also, you don’t need to worry about missing all those puzzles for weeks.  It will download all the puzzles you have missed with the first download.  So even if you don’t have Wi-Fi, go to your local coffee shop, log on, and update.
