I was excited to try this game. Of course everyone dreams of playing a super hero/villain. Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, etc. The list goes on and on, so do the possibilities. With the same excitement I was so taken by my old favorite characters from Mortal Kombat. Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Sonya, Rayden, All great characters. At first, you don't know who to play, Do I want to see what Batman can do? Should I try Sub-Zero? Does he have all his same moves? Batman is amazing and so were the other characters. Most of the Mortal Kombat characters are as we remembered "Awesome!" I played this game for about 4 hours and couldn't put it down. Superman and the Joker jump out of the TV.

The game is exciting with new features like "Free Fall Kombat", "Test Your Might" and the "Rage Mode." Free Fall Kombat occurs by knocking your opponent off the fighting floor and fighting all the way down to the next floor. Don't fret because you can defend yourself and turn the punishment around onto the other player. Test Your Might is only available on certain areas of play and is started when the player has pushed up against the wall and the attacker runs at the player and pushes him through the wall. While going through the walls both players must frantically press buttons to inflict damage and defend. Rage Mode this can turn around a fight!! You can use this mode in two different ways; one to attack your opponent without being interrupted by their attacks. You will still accrue damage if they hit you. The second way you can use it is to break up a combo attack. I wish there were more characters to play and the option to choose an arena to fight in would be more viable.

Evolution Factor HighThis game is definitely a blast to play. I can see myself coming back to play it again and again. For me the game is highly worth the money. It brings back lots of memories from the arcade and is always fun to play when friends come over. I would just like to see the arena selection available after you choose a player instead of pressing a button to see the arenas. Also why not make it a 4 person game? How great would it be to have a tag team gaming experience.
