Call of Duty 4 is a shooter like no other and rivals games such as Halo 3, Perfect Dark and all other major shooters on the 360.  Every aspect of the game is well done and thought of from the single player mode to the online and offline multiplayer mode.  This game is a must play for all first person shooters fans looking for something new.  The qualities that make this one a keeper: great story, great graphics, a real multiplayer experience on and off line and best of all more action than any shooter currently out.

This game has one of the best story lines that you will play.  As a soldier you will play as both a member of the Marines and the British SRS.  Your mission as a soldier is to try and stop some terrorists from sneaking into the U.S through different entry points. Each cut scene involves you as an integral part of anti terrorist operations.

As for gameplay, there are significant amounts of missions that showcase different aspects of combat.  From close quarter combat, to covert ops, Call of Duty leaves no thirst for bloodshed unturned.  A soldier can equip themselves with different weapons and teams trained in different tactics. The effects are realistic to the most minute detail; environmental factors such as the wind affected bullet trajectories  For example there is a snow level inside a cargo ship that forces one to use different tactics alone or with multiplayer mode.

The game involves you so well that you do not realize how much time s by.  The base game on a normal difficulty will take about 8 hours. When you play it in hard mode the game changes drastically were everything becomes an intense battles and  strategy comes more into play because you can’t just go commando into battle. The game has a lot to offer for a multiplayer experience.  After you beat the game once you can play it again with a limited amount of lives and play for points.  This would get sorted and ranked  in Xbox Live.

Evolution Factor HighCall of Duty Franchise has moved on from the same old WWII games and gave us something new that is worth playing. The game delivers everything from great controls, environments, weapons and just a great game all around that’s why I give it a high evolution factor because I enjoyed playing the game when it first came out and I still do. The game on certain consoles has downloadable map packs to keep it fresh. This is definitely the 50 plus bucks.
