Marvel Legends Presents Galactus SeriesReviewed by Xander If you haven't seen these figures around, its because they are the coolest looking figures marvel makes. The Marvel Legends line doesn't focus on any one character line. They take some of the coolest characters right out of the pages of marvel comic books. In this set you get to see 7 figures that are out of this world. Each figure is fully articulated and comes complete with a comic book reprinting an adventure the character was in. Another first for this line is the inclusion of a piece of Galactus in every package. You must collect all 7 figures in order to put together the massive, fully articulated devourer of worlds, Galactus. The first figures in the line are the Grey Hulk and Bullseye. Hulk comes grey because that is the way he was depicted originally in the comic book. The Bullseye figure comes with belt full of things to throw at daredevil. If you are lucky enough to see either a Green Hulk variant or a dirty psycho smiling Bullseye, pick them up. All the variants in the Marvel Legends line fetch high dollar so they are very in demand as well as impossible to find. There are also two of the most asked for figures in this line. War Machine comes complete with firing hand cannons as well as shoulder mounted rocket launcher and gatling gun. He comes prepared for any fight. The second is most asked for figure is everybody ‘s favorite fuzzy blue elf, Nightcrawler. Nightcrawler doesn't come with any accessories, but if you saw him in X-men 2, you realize he doesn't need them. He comes in his original red and blue outfit complete with tail. One of my favorite sculpts is the Deathlok figure. I know that he is not one of the most well known or famous marvel characters, but if you see his paint job, you too will be impressed. He is all shiny because they used metallic red paint for most of his paint job. The rest is done in steel color. He comes with backpack accessory and gun. The last two figures in the line are Professor Xavier and Sorcerer Supreme Dr. Strange. There is nothing that special with the Professor X. He comes standard with his wheel chair. The Dr. Strage figure does look very muck like the comic book version. He comes with his hands posed as if he is in the middle of casting some spell, and comes complete with his mystic cloak. If you did buy all 7 figures, you were able to put together the best figure of all. The Galactus figure is roughly 16” tall and well worth buying all 7 of the other figures. This is the coolest Galactus figure ever made. I recommend picking these figures up just to put together Galactus. These figures run approximately $8 each and are available in any toy store. So go out and buy your set today.
