Flo is back but this time she is out to help her fellow entrepreneurs. The greedy Mr. Big threatens to shut down her friends' businesses and open up a super food court. As Flo, you must help each of her 4 friends run their restaurants and use the profits to remodel and pay off the ever-growing rent. In this very much improved sequel, players can continue on with the restaurant sim fun, plus more!

Basically, the original Diner Dash game play remains. Seat your customers, take their orders, serve food and drinks, etc. There are, however, new types of customers in addition to the originals, such as families with crying babies and bookworms with a very low tolerance for noise. But fear not. With more seating arrangement challenges also come more tools to keep everyone happy. Even with the extremely fast-pace strategy play involved, there are plenty of new tweaks and twists that make this game as fun as ever.

One of the best improvements in this game can be found in the restaurant upgrades. At the beginning of each shift, you have two or three options (the third choice is achieved if you can reach the Expert Goal) for various upgrades to build the restaurant of your dreams.

Although I did enjoy the graphics in the first game, I must say that Diner Dash 2 includes even better visuals and animation in the characters. The music has also improved, for each restaurant has its own theme tune.

With many great improvements since the first Diner Dash, this game makes a fantastic choice for the office, family, and friends.
