The game requires The Sims 2, The Sims 2 Special DVD Edition, or The Sims 2 Holiday Edition to play. Here are some of the new added features:
New Décor!
Indulge your Sims' imaginations with fantasy-themed furniture, a complete underwater kids' bedroom set, or nautical-themed living room furniture.
New Styles!
Hang loose in Hawaiian style clothing or bring out the kids' adventurous side with exciting costumes.
New Stuff!
This is just a small sample of the 60 new items:
Toyboxtopus
This trunk has eight arms that can hold a bounty of toy treasures for your young mermaid or pirate Sims.
Dragon Costume
Breathe new life into playtime, birthdays, or costume parties with outrageous outfits.
Dreams Alight
Uncover the darkest mysteries of the night, or just find your way to the bathroom with this new desk lamp.
First Mate's Desk
Set a course for scholarly achievement when you place this desk in a young Sim's bedroom.
Fancy Fairy
Charm the kids or the young at heart with this magical tapestry of fantasy dragons or fairies.
The game is a great way to simulate real life, but how much of our real money are we going to spend to simulate our dream lives? It's great that in the game you have the ability to acquire more things, but people are more than just pack rats. What about a new way of playing the Sims? They have dates and go to college, but what about Sims Real Life Experiences with Jobs? Sims Education? How many expansions can do that?
