Perhaps the most anticipated title coming soon from Atari is Neverwinter Nights 2. Neverwinter Nights is based on D&D, the popular paper and pen role playing game. Neverwinter nights 2 is more balanced and with more options available than the original release! This game sticks to the 3rd edition D&D rules and brings in many sub races, the "warlock" base class, and a cooler toolset for users to interface with!

So what is the appeal in this game? Well, the D&D world allows for gamers to tweak their characters in most every aspect, similarly to the original game's role playing experience. Gamers start with a simple basic character and attributes can be rolled for to enhance their customization. Players have the option of using the provided campaigns, or use the tools to personalize their own modules. There is also a skinnable User Interface and new features, abilities, skills, and monsters. While adventuring out in the D&D world, now the things you do throughout the game affects your alignment. That means, basically, that you can be as cool or as lame as you want to be!

For the hardcore D&D fan, this game is a must have and a step above all the previous D&D products released on console and PC. Not only does it adhere to the original D&D concept of story creation and character development but give many possibilities for crossover experiences: out of the book onto the screen!

Neverwinter Nights 2 definitely has a huge replay value to keep players hooked for a long time. There have been several expansions released for the original game and Bioware continues to gratify its audience with more content. It also has so many options to customize and create, that there are infinite possibilities for satisfying your fantasy RPG experience.
