Sponge Cake Snacks:

Luscious flavors infused into sponge cakes. These snack items have an assortment of flavors to choose from: honeydew melon, melon, mocha, and strawberry. Of those flavors I tried three, the mocha, the melon and the strawberry. The mocha was very smooth, the melon was absolutely delightful, and the strawberry was very toothsome. The cakes can be eaten alone, or for a twist you could add jam or cream and fresh fruit. The cakes were very light and delectable.
I had been curious to find out more about the company that manufactured these snack items, only to come up empty handed. I wasn't able to find any online information. The cakes appear to be a product of the Philippines. There is an area on the packaging that has a “best before” date, yet this area is blank. I was a bit disappointed that it's almost like the company does not exist.
The manufacturer did not compromise taste, for these low-calorie crisps actually maintain the original flavors quite well. Also, eating a pack does not leave one's fingers marinated in crumbs and oil as if he/she just gorged on a party-size bag of chips. On the other hand, for someone who requires larger snack portions, one pack may not suffice. In this case, a six-pack box can empty in just a few days, or even less if the whole family enjoys it.

The cakes are easy to store and don't require refrigeration making them an easy on the go snack. Having several flavors at hand makes a nice variety to choose from. However, they don't sell variety packs in the store, but you can buy them individually or you could buy a bag of one flavor with 10-12 cakes for about $10-$12 dollars at your local Asian market. I really enjoyed these cakes and felt quite satisfied. The low price also makes them even more attractive. Like the packaging says they really are light, fluffy, and delectable.
