All tea is the same, right? Wrong! Some tea is just flat out horrible. And some teas are mighty tasty. Then there are acquired tastes and a multitude of other excuses for why people like and dislike products that are put out on the market.
Ito En Brand Green Tea is one of these products. It comes in a clear plastic bottle with a green label. The packaging is plain and doesn't really stand out from all the other bottles of green tea out there. The beverage comes in 16.9 fluid oz. and 2 liter bottles.
That first drink in a glass of ice is like a rush of cool green tea flavor. If it is heated it has a cleansing taste and an effect that warms the body. However, if the beverage gets lukewarm, it tastes bitter and smells like a liquidized form of body odor. The taste of the beverage itself lukewarm is metallic.
So if you're willing to down a bottle of ice cold green tea in no time flat or continually re-heat your tea, then it's an extremely pleasing liquid with which to grace your taste buds.
The average price for a small bottle ranges from $1.50 to $2.00. The larger size is about $4.00 a bottle. For the varying tastes in different temperatures it seems like a lot to go through, but the taste of pure green tea is an extremely pleasing liquid with which to grace your taste buds. There are no preservatives to this product so refrigerating it would keep the taste fresh. Would it be worth it to buy this product repeatedly? For the price you get a pure product that is healthy and when prepared properly, tastes great!
