Asahi Breweries in Japan put out several distinct flavors of a beverage that tastes like a sophisticated form of Sprite with more combination. Mitsuya Cider is a clever carbonated soft drink with more excitement and a ton of sugar.

The flavors available are orange, lemon, apple, regular (tastes like Sprite), and Mitsuya cider meets condensed milk (yes, this is a flavor). Each of these sodas has a distinct fruit flavor. Orange tastes like a fizzy orange Tic Tac, while the apple flavor is reminiscent of Mexican apple soda. The lemon is a stronger version of Sprite with less of the sugar. As the most unique of all the flavors, the Mitsuya cider meets condensed milk is somewhat like a mixed ice cream soda but more bubbles.

The packaging is very simple and not as eye-catching as some of the other Japanese beverage products out there. The drinks are available in several different sizes ranging from 16 oz. cans to 1.5 liter bottles.

I can't say this product is healthy as all of Mitsuya product line holds a ton of sugar. If the sugar content is not your concern then the taste is wonderful and different. It is also mixable, save for the Mitsuya cider meets condensed milk.
