The comic is one of four different series in collaboration between Slave Labor Graphics and Disney. Wonderland is a spin off of Disney's Alice in Wonderland and deleves into what happened after Alice leaves Wonderland. We meet the infamous Mary Ann that the White Rabbit was rambling about in the original story and are sure to meet more as the series goes along. Mostly, since this is the first comic, it introduces all the characters in a disarry trying to figure out how to fix the problems that the “Alice monster” caused.

The comic sets up a very humourous situation for those living in Wonderland. We remeet the White Rabbit, the Cheshire Cat, Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, and the Queen of Hearts. But we also get to meet new characters from the original Alice in Wonderland. The biggest problem to reading this comic would probably be the need to read atleast one version of Alice in Wonderland to grasp the point.

I give the comic an Evolution factor of High. The story itself is funny in an ironic sort of way and the ending of this first edition implies a very funny situation to come ahead. Kovac knows just where to stop his comic to leave the readers wanting more and Liew's illustrations resemble the Disney version of the original story, but with his own flair to it.
