The first thing that interested me about this comic is the art, it's a very simple style that looks like a Disney rough sketch, and follows out the story in the same type of fashion. This is a retelling, following the life of David (of David & Goliath fame) and starting at his reflection of his youth as a shepherd.

As a single story it's not all that filling, an easy read that just acts as a lead-in for the rest of the story, but it doesn't try and lend itself as being anything more.
