City of Heroes #3Reviewed by Ryan Brent
The greatest hero ever known, Statesman, has been killed by the hands of Manticore. Manticore takes the body of Statesman to Numina to get him revived. While there is some controversy over whether Numina can resurrect Statesman or not, Psyche and her group goes and fights a small band of 5 enemies willing to destroy Paragon for good. Intensity grows by the minute as Numina attempts to resurrect Statesman while Psyche fights Lord Recluse. A story arises that Statesman and Lord Recluse were 2 of a kind until certain tragic events happened. After a short while, Statesman is resurrected and joins in the fight with Psyche's friends while Manticore gains his first new super power! The good points of this comic are that it drags you into this story in a world of heroes and villains, with alot of action, drama, and tons of excitement. The artwork may not be the greatest, but it has some fantastic stuff in there. The negative thing is that there is not enough background story for newfound readers to actually know what is going on.

While the artwork needs some work, this comic has a good plot line. Even though it has been adapted from the online computer game City of Heroes , it may hook the fans of the game as well as any other fan of the hero genre.
