This issue picks up with the Statesman still missing and the Freedom Phalanx pressing all their enemies for information, starting with the small-time crooks and working their way up to the bigger players. While they eventually find the Statesman, they also learn dire news about their leader and an imminent danger that looms over everyone.

The writing for this series has been impeccable, keeping me quite entertained. The characters do not seem over nor under played. They are real enough but still as fantastical as super heroes are penned.
