TacticsReviewed by Britt-Lee Hood
Kantarou has had the 6th sense to see demons for as long as he can remember and has become friends with them, but he also has the job of "yokai busting.” He travels the countryside solving mysteries, defeating demons, and writing about his adventures. All the while he is searching for a demon-eating goblin that he has been enchanted with since childhood. One day he comes face-to-face with the mysterious demon, and together they solve mysteries and help the ghost and demon situation in Japan . The anime is adapted from a manga series that has its foundations in Japanese lore. It is a great read for those interested in the Japanese short stories of demons and spiritual beasts. The action is never dry, and the dialogue will not leave you hanging. A great series adapted from the manga, Tactics is a new series that will have some promise. The DVD is slated to release on June 27 th , 2006 . With all these features and a whopping 5 episodes per DVD, it's not a bad price to pay $24.99. Tactics is a fun series and can be enjoyed by all. I wouldn't recommend it for a beginner, but if you are looking for more stuff to watch it definitely is worth its weight in gold.
