Zombie Powder is created by the same artist of Bleach. The manga is about a group of super skilled hunters. Akutabi Gamma, the leader, has a black metal arm and like Ichigo from Bleach he has a big sword. C.T.Smith, the squad's engineer, makes bombs using soda cans. Wofina Getto, a photographer, takes pictures of criminals just to humiliate them. These hunters are trying to find the 12 rings of the dead. These rings can make Zombie Powder, which can raise the dead and give the owner immortality. The rings all have some powder inside but will only come out when all the rings are in possession. The hunters try to find them before various crooks, killers, and madmen for obvious reasons.

The art in this manga is the same as in the Bleach manga—people with big swords and super strength. The story is a good one with lots of twists and turns, so many that it can keep readers guessing at what will happen next.

The Evolution Factor is high for its good storyline and artwork. For example, most of the art is really detailed, and the storyline is sometimes really serious but most of the time funny. Some of the manga contain mini-stories that Tite Kubo made in his earlier times. Like Bleach, it has character bios along the way throughout the book.
