Shonen Jump has become popular amongst manga readers over the years. It provides previews of upcoming mangas or newly released mangas from different artists. This is perfect for those who aren't sure what manga they would enjoy. With many volumes out and different series to the Shonen Jump franchise, you're sure to find what you're looking for. Among these are the original Shonen Jump, Shonen Jump Advanced and Shonen Jump Manga Plus Advanced. Each with their own set of previews taken straight from the original.
I believe this is the best bet for newcomers to manga. If you're not sure what you want to read or if you're a parent trying to find out what your kids are reading, this is the best way to find out. The other good thing about this series is the fact that it's half the price of one manga, which is good if you're one of those people who buys a whole series and ends up disliking it. It's like a TV guide, only it's for manga.
