Imagine you’re living in a world that is nearly destroyed and things called Atanans come out randomly from hiding to destroy your home even more, then teenagers who sold their bodies to a scientist for testing show up to save the day.  Those who survived the testing developed magical powers called ‘tohsu’ and formed an army called the NOA. In Kamui, this is how the people survive in their torn up world. Then out of nowhere, a boy named Atsuma comes to retrieve a magical force called Okikurumi.  It is rumored that the force balances everything out. Soon Atsuma joins the NOA to find out that Okikurumi is hidden. With all the friends he makes along the way, Atsuma must find a way to get Okikurumi and save the world from crumbling.

I gave this manga a high Evo Factor because of its artwork and characters; the artwork is incredibly detailed down to the last shirt button, the characters interact realistically, and I really enjoy how they get introduced to the storyline.  Kamui is worth checking out.
